Meet the Owner

Jimmy Stephensen

Jimmy Stephensen is the founder and owner of JS Pest Control. Intimately familiar with the desert and its inhabitants as a native Nevadan, he brings nearly 30 years of expertise to the industry.

Jimmy is a third-generation Nevadan who was raised in the Southern Nevada construction industry. His father operated MS Concrete for 40 years, and his grandfather founded the first natural gas company in Las Vegas.

Following in his family's entrepreneurial footsteps, Jimmy established JS Pest Control in 1999. Under his leadership, it has grown into one of the largest independent, family-owned pest control companies in Nevada, with more than 30 employees.

Jimmy's deep understanding of local pests — from desert bark scorpions to subterranean termites — comes from decades of hands-on experience and a genuine commitment to protecting Las Vegas families and businesses.
